Will I stay single forever?
Sometimes it feels as though this is so, as though their will never be that one special person in your life who loves and cares for you as a man/woman above all others. We long for communion, for acknowledgement, for partnership and sexual love, and for stability. The dynamics that allow for two people to meet, fall in love, and get married (or otherwise commit themselves to each other) seem simple on the surface -- it happens in the movies all the time -- but can, in fact, be quite complex in real life and, frankly, mysterious to the realm of ordinary perception. For most of recorded human history in most cultures marriages have been arranged according to financial, legal, and social considerations with the matter of love playing very little part (it was assumed that love would grow between the partners with time, shared experience and right behavior). It had long been accepted that "love" was far too spontaneous and essentially uncontrollable to base a stable relationship on. We fought hard in the last few hundred years to be free of these socially proscribed arrangements but now find that with that freedom comes uncertainty. Like an adolescent finally free of parental supervision, we face a bewildering array of choices without clarity or sets of assumptions about what should work that often do not. No astrologer worth their salt can give you a definitive answer as to whether or not you will remain single, you always retain your free will to make decisions, but sound astrological counseling can provide the guidance you need to make the changes and informed choices necessary to obtain a happy and successful partnership if this is indeed what you seek.
