The Nadir in Synastry

Sometimes called the Imum Coeli, or simply as the IC, the Nadir is roughly equivalent to the lowest part of the sky at birth (unseen, on the other side of the earth). This point describes the nature of one's grounding and the style in which one approaches the personal realm of the Private; in synastry, it indicates the impact of each relational participant upon the other's experience of intimacy, their home, family, and subconscious agendas.
